- PART II: TOOLS AND FUNCTIONALITY : ArcCatalog: Geodatabase & Feature Class properties. Metadata. ArcMap: Layers, Symbology and data source. Map Document, Layers and Dataframe, Definition query, Scale range, Layer file. Symbolize Layer: Quantitative & Qualitative. Histograms, Classification methods, exclusion; Multi attibute symbols. Labels: Classes, Symbology, Expression, Placement. Annotation: Map and Geodatabase annotation, editing. Coordinate Systems and Map Projection. Map Layout: Templates, Map composition. Managing Tables: Sort, Summarize, Statistics, Field Calculations, Export, Graphs and Reports. Join and Relate non-spatial tables, compare tables. Editing: Update/Modify, update multiple records, Snapping and Options. Create Geodatabases and Feature Classes, Building Address locator and Geocoding street address. Spatial problem solving: Select, Clip, Buffer, Intersect (overlay). Normal Template and Customization.
